Dr. Teresa Serratt is an Associate Professor at MG老虎机 and teaches in the DNP program in the 护理学院. She holds a PhD from the University of California, San Francisco with a specialty in health policy and a MS degree in Nursing from The University of Texas, Tyler. Dr. Serratt conducts health services research (issues related to cost, quality and access to care) with a recent focus on issues related to nurse staffing. She has a varied professional background from bedside critical care, nursing administration, pharmaceutical sales, medical product research & development, and education: in hospital & academic settings. Dr. Serratt was the former legislative chair for the Nevada Nurses Association for several years.
Dr. Serratt is married with adult children: one son, three daughters and has two grandchildren, Madison & Mason. She also has three dogs who keep her company in her home office. Hobbies include traveling, hiking, reading, and working on a works of popular fiction.
